The Drug Store
On April 21st, 2009 at Coronado Middle School, Coronado SAFE and the SAFE Coalition, along with local police and fire departments, federal law enforcement agents, federal prosecutors, local judges, attorneys, councilors, doctors, nurses, school teachers, parents and other volunteers presented The Drug Store for Coronado's 6th graders.
The Drug Store is a hard-hitting, realistic presentation of the consequences of substance abuse. Each 6th grade class viewed seven scenes (in seven different tents) that followed a fellow classmate actor as he/she went down the tragic path of substance abuse so often traveled by youth in real life.
For more information about The Drug Store including having an interest in hosting the event for your community, please contact Coronado SAFE.
Thank You, Volunteers!
Coronado SAFE realizes that you made many personal and professional sacrifices to volunteer for The Drug Store. We are very appreciative to you all. Without you, the event would not have been possible.
