Many mistakenly believe that if we work harder in the places where we are the weakest, that we will become more productive and accomplish greater things.  Consequently, many overlook their strengths while trying to improve their weaknesses in order to obtain this "balanced" skill-set. But the truth is that each person has strengths and weaknesses that are unique in their own right. It is having the ability to recognize these unique skill sets that allow us to achieve more physically, mentally and spiritually as well.  Positive psychologists are discovering that when we identify our strengths and work within them, we become more focused, more productive, and achieve greater results.

Psychologist Mihály Csíkszentmihályi calls working within our strengths, working in a state of Flow. He makes a powerful point on how working in flow is at the root of total fulfillment.  Flow is defined as the mental state in which a person is fully and completely immersed in a feeling of energized focus, full involvement, and enjoyment  while doing a particular activity.  In other words, we can achieve flow, when we find our unique strengths that motivate and immerse us to achieve more.
